Virtual Deck turns your XENEON EDGE into a Stream Deck, with your buttons live on the touchscreen. You set them up once in the Stream Deck app.
What you need
Setup
Open the widget on your EDGE
It looks for Stream Deck straight away. If Stream Deck isn't running yet, start it, and the widget connects the next time it opens.
Create a deck for this screen
Tap the settings button, then Create a deck for this screen. The settings button sits on the left and shows your grid size, such as 5 × 3. Creating a deck registers a new device named XENEON EDGE in Stream Deck.
Add your buttons in the Stream Deck app
Open Stream Deck on your PC and pick XENEON EDGE from the device list at the top. Drag actions onto it exactly as you would for any deck.
Everything appears on the touchscreen as you drop it, with no saving or refreshing.
Using it
- Tap to press. Runs the button, the same as pressing a physical key. Press and hold works too.
- Swipe to change pages. Drag left or right anywhere on the deck. The arrows on the right do the same thing.
- Settings. Switch between decks, or change how many columns and rows you want.
Buttons update themselves. A clock ticks, a volume key shows when you're muted, and a stream button turns green when you go live, because the Stream Deck app draws them, not the widget.
Troubleshooting
It says "Stream Deck not running"
The widget needs the Stream Deck app open, because that's what runs your actions. Start it, then reopen the widget.
If Stream Deck is already running, check that it's version 7 or later under Preferences → About.
It says "No virtual device"
You haven't created your deck yet. Open settings and tap Create a deck for this screen.
It says "Pairing refused"
The prompt on your PC was dismissed or declined. Reopen the widget to ask again, and choose allow this time.
The buttons are in the wrong places, or some are missing
Your grid doesn't match the deck. Open settings and set Columns and Rows to the size you want. The deck resizes immediately.
Stream Deck doesn't tell the widget how big a deck is, which is why this is a setting rather than something it works out on its own.
Keys show text instead of pictures
The artwork is still on its way from Stream Deck, and it normally arrives within a second. If the text stays, close and reopen the widget.
Stream Deck Mobile on my phone stopped working
Make sure the widget is set to XENEON EDGE in settings, not Stream Deck Mobile. If it points at your phone's deck, both are using the same one.
