Is it safe? The Windows SmartScreen warning
Are QAEM's downloads safe?
Yes. The Windows installers here aren't code-signed yet, so Windows doesn't recognise them and Microsoft Defender SmartScreen warns about them. That's about the missing signature, not about anything in the files. Qaem Hub is going through Microsoft Store publishing, so it will soon come code-signed and certified from the Microsoft Store. Download them only from qaemdev.com.
Why does Windows say "Windows protected your PC"?
That's SmartScreen's message for an installer without a code-signing certificate, shown with "Unknown publisher". Click More info, then Run anyway. Your browser may also say the file isn't commonly downloaded: choose Keep (Chrome) or Keep anyway (Edge).
My antivirus flagged the installer. What do I do?
Some antivirus apps flag unsigned installers for the same reason. If you downloaded it from qaemdev.com, allow the app in your antivirus and run the installer again.
