QAEM's widgets for the XENEON EDGE each ship as a single .icuewidget file that you import into iCUE. This is the routine they share; each widget's own guide covers anything extra, such as Qaem Hub or a sign-in.
Before you start
Install a widget
Get the .icuewidget file
Get the widget's .icuewidget file, for example wordle.icuewidget, from its listing on the Elgato Marketplace. Each widget's page in the catalog links to it. If you bought the widget here on qaemdev.com, it's under Account → Downloads, always at its newest version.
Import it into iCUE
Double-click the file, and iCUE picks it up and imports it.
If nothing happens, import it by hand:
- Open iCUE and select your XENEON EDGE from the device list.
- Go to the Widgets section for the screen.
- Use the + button (Import widget) and choose the
.icuewidgetfile.
Place it on a screen area
Drag the widget onto a screen area of your EDGE and pick a size. Busier widgets need a bigger slot: Twitchify suits M or L for chat, and Gmail Connect needs L or XL for its three panes.
Check its settings
Once the widget is placed, its settings appear beside the layout in iCUE's widget settings panel, next to Size. Some widgets also have their own Preferences on the touchscreen, opened from a button in the widget's header.
Widgets that need Qaem Hub
A widget is a web page, so it can't start programs or talk to other desktop apps by itself. Some widgets rely on Qaem Hub, a free Windows app, for that part, each through its own module:

Download Qaem Hub and install it, then open Add modules, select the modules your widgets use and click Install selected. Qaem Hub starts with Windows and waits in the tray, and each module's details have a step-by-step setup guide. Set up Qaem Hub covers the rest. If a widget says it's waiting for Qaem Hub or its helper, open Qaem Hub from the tray or the Start menu and check that the module is added and switched on.
For Browser Media Controls, your browser starts the helper when it needs it, and Qaem Hub registers it for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox. To show a second PC's media too, turn on Multi-PC in the module's details. The other PC needs this PC's address and PIN.
Removing a module or uninstalling Qaem Hub doesn't remove the widgets. Remove a widget from iCUE separately.
