QAEM's widgets for the XENEON EDGE each ship as a single .icuewidget file that you import into iCUE. This is the routine they share; each widget's own guide covers anything extra, such as a helper app or a sign-in.
Before you start
Install a widget
Download the .icuewidget file
Download the widget's .icuewidget file, for example launchify.icuewidget or twitchify.icuewidget from that widget's GitHub releases page.
Import it into iCUE
Double-click the file, and iCUE picks it up and imports it.
If nothing happens, import it by hand:
- Open iCUE and select your XENEON EDGE from the device list.
- Go to the Widgets section for the screen.
- Use the + button (Import widget) and choose the
.icuewidgetfile.
Place it on a screen area
Drag the widget onto a screen area of your EDGE and pick a size. Busier widgets need a bigger slot: Twitchify suits M or L for chat, and Gmail Connect needs L or XL for its three panes.
Check its settings
Once the widget is placed, its settings appear beside the layout in iCUE's widget settings panel, next to Size. Some widgets also have their own Preferences on the touchscreen, opened from a button in the widget's header.
Widgets that need a helper app
A widget is a web page, so it can't start programs or talk to other desktop apps by itself. Some widgets rely on a separate Windows app for that part:
| Widget | What it needs |
|---|---|
| Launchify | Launchify Helper, to launch, focus and move your apps |
| Deckord widget | Deckord Helper, to talk to the Discord desktop app |
| Virtual Deck | The Stream Deck app, version 7 or later, running |
| Twitchify | Nothing, unless you add the optional Watch Sync helper |
| Gmail Connect | Nothing. It talks to Google directly. |
Each helper's installer sets it to start with Windows and adds an uninstall entry under Settings → Apps. Helpers have no window, and they idle while iCUE isn't running. If a widget says it's waiting for its helper, the helper isn't running; that widget's guide explains how to start it.
Uninstalling a helper doesn't remove its widget. Remove the widget from iCUE separately.
