Set up Qaem Hub

Install Qaem Hub, add the modules your widgets use and allow the widgets that ask. Old helpers are replaced for you.

Qaem Hub runs the helpers your XENEON EDGE widgets need, from one app in the tray. You'll install it, add a module for each widget you use, and allow the widgets that ask. There's no account, and nothing to change in iCUE.

Before you start

Install

Download Qaem Hub

Download Qaem Hub Setup.exe, or find it on the Downloads page.

Run the installer

Double-click Qaem Hub Setup.exe. It installs Qaem Hub for your Windows account, with no admin prompt, and opens it. From then on Qaem Hub starts with Windows and waits in the tray.

Check what it replaced

If the standalone helpers for Deckord, Launchify, Twitchify Watch Sync or Browser Media Controls are installed, Qaem Hub replaces them the first time it starts. It uninstalls each old helper and runs the same helper as a module, on the same port, so your sign-ins and settings stay and nothing needs re-importing in iCUE. A notice in Library lists what it replaced.

Add modules

  1. Open Add modules and select the modules your widgets use.
  2. Click Install selected. They show in Library, each with a switch to turn it off and on.
  3. Click a module to open its details. Its Set up … guide takes you through the widget's side, one step at a time.

A widget that's waiting for its helper can take you there too: tap its Start or Launch button, and Qaem Hub opens Add modules with that module already picked.

Allow a widget

Some modules hold a secret, such as your OBS password. The first time a widget asks to use one, Qaem Hub shows the widget's name and a 4-digit code, and the widget shows its code too.

  1. Check that the two codes match.
  2. Click Allow. If you didn't just add that widget, click Deny.

You do this once per widget: copies of the same widget share the approval. To make every widget ask again, open the module's details and click Reset under Widgets.

If a widget can't reach Qaem Hub

  • Qaem Hub isn't running. Open it from the tray or the Start menu, or tap Start Qaem Hub on the widget if it offers one.
  • The module isn't on. Add it in Add modules, or switch it on in Library.
  • iCUE 5.51 or newer. If iCUE asks, allow 127.0.0.1 in iCUE under Settings → Widget Access.

Updates

Qaem Hub updates itself, helper updates included. With Install updates automatically on in Settings, which is the default, a new version installs while your PC is idle. If a widget still says it's waiting afterwards, restart iCUE once. With it off, the update waits for Restart to update or the next time Qaem Hub starts.

Uninstall

To remove one module, open its details and click Remove module.

To remove Qaem Hub, open Settings in Qaem Hub and click Uninstall, or go to Settings → Apps → Qaem Hub in Windows. Every module stops and is removed, and the widgets that use them stop working until you install Qaem Hub again. The old standalone helpers aren't put back. Your settings stay on this PC.
