Terms of use
These terms cover qaemdev.com and all the software QAEM publishes here, including apps, plugins, extensions, packs and helpers.
Who sells what
Paid products on qaemdev.com are sold through Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar processes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues your receipt, and its own terms apply to the payment. Products listed on the Elgato Marketplace or another store are sold under that store's terms.
Licenses
Buying a product gives you a personal license to use it on your own devices, within any activation limit shown at checkout. Don't resell, share or publish license keys. Free and open-source products are covered by the license in their repository, for example MIT.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal, linked from your Polar receipt and from the Licenses & billing page. Paid features stay active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds
If a product doesn't work for you, contact support first. Most problems can be fixed, and where a refund is appropriate it's issued through Polar.
Other companies' products
The software works with products and services from other companies, including Elgato Stream Deck, Corsair iCUE and XENEON EDGE, Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Google and Wallpaper Engine. QAEM isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners. Features that rely on their apps or APIs can change or stop working when those change.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, QAEM isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the current version.
