Qaem Hub privacy policy

Qaem Hub is QAEM's companion app for Windows. It needs no account. This page covers what it sends to qaemdev.com, and what qaemdev.com keeps.

Updates and news

Qaem Hub checks qaemdev.com for updates, sending only its version. It also checks for news, a minute after it starts and every few hours. With the news check it sends:

• A random install ID, made on your PC the first time Qaem Hub runs. It isn't tied to you or to your PC's hardware.
• The Qaem Hub version.
• Which modules are switched on, such as Deckord Helper or Taskbar.

What qaemdev.com keeps

qaemdev.com keeps only a one-way code of the install ID, never the ID itself and never your IP address. The code can't be turned back into the ID. It's used to count active and new installs, versions and module use. An install not seen for 13 months is deleted, with its history.

News links

A link in a news item opens through qaemdev.com, which counts the click for that news item and then opens the page. Nothing about who clicked is kept.

Turning news off

You can switch news and offers off in Qaem Hub's Settings, under News and offers from QaemDev. Important notices always show.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
