The Deckord widget puts Discord voice control on your XENEON EDGE touchscreen, and works with or without the Deckord Stream Deck plugin. You'll install a small Windows helper, import the widget, and connect it to your Discord application.
Before you start
The widget needs the helper because Discord's desktop app only talks over a local connection that a widget can't open itself. The helper talks to Discord and passes live voice state to the widget. It has no window and no tray icon, sleeps when no widget is connected and iCUE isn't running, and wakes within about two seconds when either appears.
Install
Run the helper installer
Run Deckord Helper Setup.exe once. It installs the helper to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Deckord, sets it to start with Windows, adds an uninstall entry under Settings → Apps, and starts it. There's nothing to configure.
Import the widget in iCUE
In iCUE → XENEON EDGE → Widgets, import deckord.icuewidget and place it on a screen area. For the details, see Install an iCUE widget on the XENEON EDGE.
Enter your Discord credentials
On first run, the widget shows a connect form. Paste your Discord application's Client ID and Client Secret (the same values the Deckord plugin uses), then tap Connect Discord.
Approve in Discord
Approve the prompt in Discord if one appears. The widget asks for four permissions the plugin doesn't, for camera and screen share, so Discord shows one consent window for them the first time.
After that, the widget reuses its saved access across restarts and renews it silently. The Discord prompt only comes back if the access is revoked.

Good to know
- Soundboard. It needs helper version 1.1 or newer, and Discord only plays sounds while you're in a voice channel. With an older helper, the widget tells you the command isn't allowed.
- Updating the helper. Replacing
DeckordHelper.exedoesn't update a helper that's already running. The old one keeps running until it's restarted. - Plugin and widget together. The Deckord plugin and the helper can run at the same time. Each keeps its own connection to Discord.
- Settings in iCUE. Every preference except the two default-channel picks is also in iCUE's own widget settings panel, next to Size. If you turn off the Preferences button in the header, long-press your avatar in the header for about 0.6 seconds to get the dialog back.
- Credentials. Your Client ID, Client Secret and access token are stored by the helper at
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Deckord\helper-config.json. Change credentials… in the widget's Preferences clears them. The log file is%LOCALAPPDATA%\Deckord\helper.log.
Uninstall
Go to Settings → Apps → Deckord Helper, or run "Deckord Helper Setup.exe" /uninstall.
