Photo frame
A slideshow of the photos in a folder.
A built-in widget in EdgeOS, the desktop widget app for Windows 10 and 11. Put it on any monitor or on the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE, at any size, next to your other widgets. It's free, like EdgeOS itself.
What you can set
- Folder
- Include subfolders
- Order
- Shuffle · By name · Newest first
- Newest first goes by the date each photo was taken, or the file's date when it has none.
- Photos
- All · Prefer the tile's shape · Only the tile's shape
- The tile's shape: on the Edge's wide strip that means landscape photos, on a tall tile portrait ones. Prefer shows three of those to one of the others. Only shows just those, or every photo when none match.
- Each photo stays
- 5 seconds · 10 seconds · 15 seconds · 30 seconds · 1 minute · 2 minutes · 5 minutes · 10 minutes · 30 minutes · 1 hour
- Transition
- Fade · Slide · None
- Transition speed
- Quick · Normal · Slow
- Tap for the next photo, hold to pause
- Fit
- Auto · Fill · Fit inside
- Fill crops each photo to the tile. Fit inside shows all of it. Auto fills when that keeps most of the photo and fits it inside when filling would cut away too much, like a tall photo on the wide strip.
- Blurred photo behind
- Fills the space beside a photo that is fitted inside with a blurred, enlarged copy of the same photo.
- Keep (up and down)
- Top · Upper · Middle · Lower · Bottom
- Which part of a tall photo stays when it is cropped to a wide tile. Upper keeps faces in most portraits.
- Keep (across)
- Left · Middle · Right
- Which part of a wide photo stays when it is cropped to a tall tile.
- Pan slowly over cropped photos
- Moves slowly across a cropped photo while it shows, so all of it comes into view.
- Caption
- None · File name · Date taken · Both
- Date taken comes from the photo's EXIF data, or the file's date when it has none.
- Keep the tile's padding
Parts you can restyle
Each part can be resized, given its own colour, font and background, or hidden, under Customize → Layout.
