Home Assistant
Two ways, both on Windows: Home Assistance, an iCUE widget for the XENEON EDGE, and the Home Assistant widget in EdgeOS Premium, which also works on any monitor. Both show your lights, climate, blinds, media, scenes, locks, sensors and cameras live, with their controls a tap away.
Built into EdgeOS
EdgeOS is a free Windows app with its own widgets, on your monitors and the XENEON EDGE. Some of them need Premium, a one-time upgrade; there's nothing else to buy.

Which one to use
Home Assistance, if you live in iCUE
It sits on an iCUE screen page beside your other iCUE widgets. It needs a XENEON EDGE, iCUE 5.45 or newer and Qaem Hub, and it's a one-time purchase on the Elgato Marketplace.
EdgeOS, for a second monitor or the whole Edge
The Home Assistant widget runs on any monitor, on the desktop or over every window, and on the Edge in Desktop Mode, without iCUE, next to EdgeOS's other widgets.
What to expect
Locks and alarms are guarded
Home Assistance unlocks and disarms only where you allow it, always with a second tap. In EdgeOS you choose which entities the widget is allowed to open.
Your sign-in stays on your PC
Home Assistance keeps it encrypted on your PC, and you approve it with your own Home Assistant login. EdgeOS keeps an alarm code, if your alarm needs one, in its settings on your PC.
From your PC
Both connect from your PC to your Home Assistant, on your network or wherever your PC can reach it.
Several jobs, several copies
Add the widget more than once: one for a room's lights, one for sensors, one for a camera.
Other ways to get Home Assistant on a screen
A browser in full screen
Free, and it shows your own Home Assistant dashboard exactly as you built it, one page at a time. On the Edge, it needs the Edge used as a Windows screen.
Community desktop apps
Free, open-source projects such as HA Desktop Widget and Home Assistant Dock for Windows put a small panel of entities on the desktop.
A Raspberry Pi kiosk
Projects such as TouchKio turn a Raspberry Pi with a touch display into a wall panel. That's Linux on its own device, not your PC.

Common questions
- Can I put Home Assistant on the XENEON EDGE?
- Yes. Home Assistance is an iCUE widget that shows your Home Assistant on the Edge, and EdgeOS Premium has a Home Assistant widget that fills the Edge with no iCUE needed.
- Is there a Home Assistant desktop widget for Windows?
- Yes. EdgeOS Premium's Home Assistant widget sits on your Windows desktop, behind your apps or over every window, on any monitor.
- Can I show Home Assistant on a second monitor?
- Yes. Switch the monitor on in EdgeOS under Settings → Screens and put the Home Assistant widget on it, or open your Home Assistant dashboard in a full-screen browser there.
- Does it need iCUE?
- Home Assistance does, since it's an iCUE widget. EdgeOS's Home Assistant widget doesn't: it runs on your monitors, and on the Edge in Desktop Mode.
- Are these made by the Open Home Foundation?
- No. They're made by QAEM, an independent developer, and aren't affiliated with or endorsed by the Open Home Foundation. Home Assistant is a trademark of its owner.
