CORSAIR XENEON EDGE

The XENEON EDGE on a Mac

As a display, yes: CORSAIR says the XENEON EDGE works with macOS as an extra touchscreen monitor. But it isn't supported by iCUE for macOS, so its widgets and dashboards don't run on a Mac, and EdgeOS and QAEM's iCUE widgets are Windows-only too. On a Mac, the Edge is a 2560 × 720 screen you fill yourself.

CORSAIR's facts checked 26 Oct 2026.

CORSAIR says the USB-C port carries picture and power with compatible Thunderbolt or USB4 devices; HDMI works too.

Filling the Edge from a Mac

With no widget app, the Edge is a wide second screen. What fits its 32:9 shape well:

A window you drag there

A music player, a chat app, a calendar or a timer, sized to the strip. macOS treats the Edge like any other display in System Settings → Displays.

A web dashboard in a full-screen browser

Home Assistant, Grafana or a stream's chat popout, in a browser window filling the Edge. You build the dashboard in that service.

Check touch on your own Mac first

macOS isn't designed for touchscreens, and CORSAIR doesn't describe how the Edge's touch behaves there. Try it before you build a setup that relies on tapping.

If you also have a Windows PC

Everything iCUE- and EdgeOS-based needs the Edge plugged into a Windows 10 or 11 PC. There, EdgeOS fills it in Desktop Mode with no iCUE at all.

Common questions

Does the XENEON EDGE work with a Mac?
Yes, as a display. CORSAIR says it works with macOS as an extra touchscreen monitor, over HDMI or USB-C. iCUE's widgets and dashboards don't run on a Mac.
Does iCUE for macOS support the XENEON EDGE?
No. CORSAIR says the Edge isn't compatible with the macOS version of iCUE, so there are no iCUE features, custom widgets or system monitoring dashboards on a Mac.
Does EdgeOS run on macOS?
No. EdgeOS is for Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, and so are QAEM's iCUE widgets.
Does the XENEON EDGE's touchscreen work on a Mac?
CORSAIR calls it a touchscreen monitor on macOS but doesn't say how touch behaves there, and macOS isn't designed for touchscreens. Try it on your own Mac before relying on it.
Can I connect the XENEON EDGE to a MacBook with one cable?
CORSAIR says the USB-C port carries picture and power together with compatible Thunderbolt or USB4 devices. Otherwise use HDMI for the picture.
